Euphemisms blur the truth. Here’s the ACLU defending racial discrimination against whites and Asians.

The Supreme Court could ban “affirmative action.” Leftists will try to discriminate against whites anyway. We must always identify it clearly: racial discrimination.

It will be a hard fight though. Corporate America is on the other side.

Again, note the corporate euphemism.

Mainstream conservatives are willing to take on absurd gender theories. It’s sad it’s even necessary, but one reason America’s in this fix is because conservatives didn’t fight racial egalitarianism. Conservatives might disagree with me, but at least some leftists are on my side.

Many whites may be claiming to be “trans” or “queer” or “non-binary” because it means they can play at being victims. That may not work much longer.

The Los Angeles Times has an odd view:

One almost admires the insult to Europeans. Still, we can’t let anyone get away with claiming demographic change might change a society. That’s a racist conspiracy theory.

The South African Freedom Front Plus party is protesting a poster that suggests apartheid still causes violence in South Africa today.

It’s bizarre to blame today’s crime on apartheid. The new South Africa is an explicit repudiation of the white republic, but South Africa is now an embarrassment by comparison. The “education” campaign blaming whites for black failures is a clumsy justification for taking their property. We have the same thing in America.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Journalists and leftists (but I repeat myself) are unhappy. Now, just about anything is “fascist.”

The prime minister also met with Donald Trump.

The good news here is that leftists have cast their net so wide that practically everyone is a “white nationalist” or a “fascist” or both. Conservatives gain nothing from trying to prove they are anti-racist or trying to police their movement. Maybe some will understand that.

“Papa” John Schnatter was another CPAC speaker.

Leftists don’t get to say that using a certain word means an argument is illegitimate.

Speaking of politically stilted speech:

The Justice Department is showing its priorities. It is going after the police offers involved in shooting Breonna Taylor. Ann Coulter explained the incident in a 2020 column. It’s important to read it so you know exactly whom the Justice Department serves.

This could happen to any white officer. The police should stop babysitting people who hate them.

Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) suspended Tampa Bay prosecutor Andrew Warren, one of the soft-on-crime prosecutors. This was because Mr. Warren signed a letter saying his office would “decline to use our offices’ resources to criminalize reproductive health decisions,” even if that meant not enforcing state law.

The always amusing Joy Reid saw “white nationalism” in Governor DeSantis.

Her exact quote:

He fired a U.S. state attorney who refused to prosecute people related to abortion. Where he’s doing these openly authoritarian sort of Orbanist things, pushing what does feel like a version of White replacement theory, that you can’t make White children feel uncomfortable in school, that you can’t say anything about racism in the workplace, that you have to sort of create this sort of White nationalist environment everywhere or else

Unfortunately, Miss Reid is exaggerating the “white nationalism” supposedly diving our institutions. America would not have the problems it does if she were right. Still, it’s another sign there’s nothing to be gained from caution. You will be a “white nationalist” no matter what.

A reporter at USA Today who wants the press to more clearly take sides is very upset about the loss of this “reform-minded prosecutor.”

This is another euphemism. Thankfully, the prosecutor made his pitch for selective law enforcement explicit enough that Governor DeSantis could ditch him.

This same reporter touted a study that claims the rise in “trans kids” was not caused by media. Instead, presumably, there were always this many “trans kids,” and they are just now beginning to feel safe enough to come out.

However, the study is very weak.

It’s interesting to see when we are supposed to believe the media has power and when it doesn’t.

Since the world “racist” has lost so much force, everything is now “white nationalist.”

Limiting girls’ sports to girls and asking for proof may also be “white nationalist.”

Talking about George Soros is “white nationalist,” too.

George Soros has donated hundreds of millions to push his ideas. Calling a fact a “conspiracy” is not refutation.

Saying that bad people talked about a fact doesn’t make the fact go away, either.

John Howard is a former leader in the Australian Liberal Party. Years ago, he broached the idea of changing the Constitution to grovel to the “Indigenous.” This is his reward. An Aborigine rapper says:

Mr. Howard is in the news because he downplayed climate change. The Guardian somehow stretched this into identity politics. Again, conservatives bear heavy blame. They’ve always wilted when called racist. You can’t blame leftists for using a tactic that works.

China reportedly has plans if it conquers Taiwan.

Is “re-educating” people to feel shame about their own identity a bad thing? If so, there’s a lot we need to change about the American education system.
